Meet the team
We are Stephanie Saillour and Fabian Low, practitioners of ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release based in West Auckland. We share a respect for the body’s intelligence and a commitment to gentle, attentive care.
Our work is grounded in listening — to the body, to lived experience, and to what is ready to shift. While we each bring different skills and perspectives, we are united by a shared value: supporting people in a way that is respectful, collaborative, and led by the individual rather than by force or protocol.
We were taught the Art of ConTact C.A.R.E in Ngatea by founders Kym Summers & Dale Speedy, and Stephanie learnt Equine ConTact C.A.R.E with Camille Nelson, director of Equine ConTact C.A.R.E.

Stephanie Saillour
Registered Qualified ConTact C.A.R.E Practitioner & Foundation Level MentorOriginally from France, Stephanie found her way to New Zealand via Australia and Cambodia — a wandering path that suited someone equally at home in wild landscapes and in genuine conversation with strangers. A decade in tourism deepened that, and so did a serious accident that sent her looking for something conventional pathways couldn’t quite offer. That search led her to ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release and Tai Chi — and what started as personal curiosity became a calling. She’s been a qualified practitioner since early 2023, working full time from her West Auckland clinic with people, companion animals, and horses.
As part of her ConTact C.A.R.E study path, Stephanie holds an NZQA Level 5 qualification in Anatomy & Physiology for Holistic Bodyworkers — the formal anatomical grounding that underpins the practical, hands-on skill of Flinchlock Release.
When she’s not in session, you might find her gardening, foraging, getting crafty or guiding French visitors through Aotearoa’s best destinations. She's a student of the ConTact C.A.R.E dojo in Ngatea, and a student of Sing Ong Tai Chi School.
Fabian Low
ConTact C.A.R.E Student Practitioner, Registered Counsellor, Narrative Therapist, Holistic Nutritionist, and Tai Chi InstructorFabian has lived between countries and cultures for much of his life and brings a genuinely wide range of experience with him — counsellor, Tai Chi instructor, teacher, chef & nutritionist, among other things. For the past seven years he's worked with adults and young people on their mental health journeys and holds a Master of Counselling with First Class Honours from the University of Waikato. He's a Te Whatu Ora accredited member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (MNZAC).
He joined the Sing Ong Tai Chi School in 2011 and is now a recognized instructor. Fabian qualified as a holistic nutritionist in Vancouver, Canada. He first came across ConTact C.A.R.E in 2021 and began his formal training at the Ngatea dojo with Dale and Kym in 2024. He is currently in his final training year as a Practitioner Student.
Fabian is particularly drawn to the intersection of mental health and the body — the way lived experience, stress, and past events can weave themselves into physical holding patterns that the body faithfully carries. Drawing on his counselling background and his ConTact C.A.R.E training, he works with clients who sense that body and mind are not separate in what they're holding — using Flinchlock Release to locate and support the release of physical anchors, and weaving this with his counselling experience to support greater ease in both.
Note: Fabian's ConTact C.A.R.E sessions and his counselling practice are separate services. ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release is a martial arts discipline, not a clinical treatment. It does not replace professional mental health care.
