Tai Chi for Health

If you’ve ever been curious about Tai Chi — or about building a gentle daily self-care practice — Fabian’s Thursday classes are a great place to start.

Tai Chi for Health is a slow, mindful movement practice that’s genuinely accessible to anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. It’s not about getting fit or learning to fight — it’s about developing balance, ease, and a quiet awareness of how you’re moving through the world. Fabian teaches it with the same warmth and patience he brings to everything else.

Classes run every Thursday at 4:30pm at Oratia District School Hall. Everyone is welcome.

This programme is endorsed by ACC’s Live Stronger for Longer initiative and is assessed annually.

Next Class intake: Thursday 17 September 2026.
